Since becoming a vegetarian, there are days I crave some delicious wings! I realized why not just make myself some cauliflower wings! I followed Eat Raw Till Whenever* recipe for inspiration but the Sriracha dipping sauce was a new treat I came up with. Ingredients:
Cauliflower Wings
- 2 cups of bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 3 cups of almond milk
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 1 cup of Franks hot Sauce
- 1 tbsp of cumin
- 1 tsp of salt and pepper
Sriracha Chives Dipping Sauce
- 1/2 cup o vegan mayo
- 2 tsp of apple cider
- 1 tbsp of sriracha
- 1 tbsp of chopped chives
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cauliflower Wings
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Chopped up cauliflower florets into small pieces size close to an apricot
- In a large bowl mix the bread crumbs and almond milk together until until a batter like consistency is made
- Dip each piece of cauliflower into the batter using a fork and shake off any excess batter. Lay each cauliflower piece onto a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Bake the cauliflower for 10 mins.
- In a small mixing bowl pour out one cup of Frank’s hot sauce. Once the cauliflower is done take it out and dip each piece into the hot sauce.
- Rebake the cauliflower for another five mins.
- Take out and let the cauliflower cool.
Sriracha Dipping Sauce
- Chopped up the chives into small pieces.
- Mix the mayo, apple cider vinegar, Sriracha and seasoning with the chives.
